ADT NevaAlone allows people the choice to be cared for in their own homes day and night, even when no one can be there in person. The NevaAlone Personal Alarm is accredited by the Ministry of Social Development (MSD) and Work and Income (WINZ), making it an accessible option for anyone. NevaAlone is an easy to use system that even those with no technical experience can learn to use. It comes with two separate parts, a unit that is placed in the home and a waterproof pendant or watch that you wear on yourself at all times.
If you find yourself in an emergency in or around your home, you can simply call for help using your personal alarm by either:
- Pressing the HELP button on the medical unit
- Pressing the HELP button on your Wristwatch or Pendant
The ADT monitoring centre will answer your call and find out what type of assistance you need through the two-way communication system. We can send an ambulance, security patrol or contact your emergency contacts if you had an accident. If we can’t talk to you or ask you to, we send an ambulance. You can cancel the call if you have given a false alarm as well by simply pressing the cancel button.
The pendant range will cover most properties, so it will work from any room in your home and even in the garden, providing you with complete freedom.
